All communities in Ward 62 (Constantia, Bishopscourt, Fernwood, Upper Newlands, Trovato, Wynberg west, Plumstead west, Porter Estate) are affected by Safety and Security issues, and many residents are considering establishing neighbourhood watches or funding monitored CCTV and LPR cameras.
Councillor JP Smith is well known for making progress possible together by introducing new ideas and technology in the City of Cape Town, and for establishing partnerships between the City and other Safety & Security role players.
Councillor JP Smith and the City’s Metro Police, Traffic Police and Law Enforcement units work together with SAPS, neighbourhood watches and Community Police Forums to make our communities safer places to live and grow our economy.
